Dog-Friendly Events in London This Month
A dog market in Islington, a dog-friendly orchestra screening, a Christmas jumper parade and a sound-healing session for the calmer among us — here's what's actually on for dogs and their owners in London this November.
November's standouts are the "Woof About" dog market in Islington (7 Nov), the Museum of Illusions' dog days (8 and 22 Nov), a dog-friendly live orchestra cinema screening (21 Nov), and the Rescue Dogs of London Christmas Jumper Parade (28 Nov). If you just want a weekly habit, Hiver Taproom in Bermondsey runs Dog Friendly Sundays every week. Details below — but always double-check times and booking on the organiser's own page before you head out, since event listings change.
Early November (1–9 Nov)
- Woof About — dedicated dog market. Saturday 7 November, 11am–5pm, Islington Square, 16 Upper Street. A weekly market pop-up aimed squarely at dogs and their owners — stalls, treats, and a reliably busy, sociable atmosphere.
- Paws & Pours. Saturday 7 November, 2pm, Humble Grape, Islington. A guided wine tasting for dog lovers — four wines, each paired with a dog breed — with dog-friendly drinks and treats for the dogs while the humans taste.
- Museum of Illusions London — Dog Days. Sunday 8 November, sessions 10am–12pm and 5–6.30pm. Bring your dog through the museum's 70-plus optical-illusion exhibits during dedicated dog-friendly windows. Tickets from £29; dogs go free.
- Yoga With Pawla. Sunday 8 November, 2.30pm, Sol Centre, 216 Fairbridge Road, Archway. A beginner-friendly yoga class where your dog shares the mat with you throughout — more about company than choreography. £30 for one person and one dog.
Mid-November (14–22 Nov)
- Paws at the Pictures — dog-friendly live orchestra cinema. Saturday 21 November, Battersea Arts Centre, Lavender Hill. Watch The Snowman and the Snowdog on the big screen with its soundtrack performed live by an orchestra, plus a festive singalong — dogs included throughout. Every ticket supports Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
- Woof Photography pop-up. Saturday 21 November, 10am–5pm, Vertus Edit, Canary Wharf. A one-day professional dog photography pop-up — 20-minute private sessions, around £39, limited slots booked via Eventbrite.
- Museum of Illusions London — Dog Days (second date). Sunday 22 November, same session windows as the 8th.
- Laoxa's Creative Ground — Makers Market. Sunday 22 November, 12–5pm, Exale Brewery Taproom, Walthamstow. A free, dog-friendly independent-makers market — illustrations, ceramics, jewellery, live music and food.
Late November (28 Nov)
- Rescue Dogs of London & Friends — Christmas Jumper Parade. Saturday 28 November, 10am–12pm, starting at St James's Park opposite Horse Guards Parade and finishing in Green Park via The Mall. An annual charity parade for rescue dogs in Christmas jumpers, with a jumper competition and goodie bags — proceeds go to rescue charities.
- Paws & Sound — dog-friendly sound healing. Saturday 28 November, from 7pm, St Philip's Church, Earl's Court Road, Kensington. A group dog walk at 7pm, a sound journey with crystal singing bowls at 7.30pm, then time to socialise. Organised by Holistique.
Every week, no booking required
Dog Friendly Sundays at Hiver Taproom, Bermondsey. Every Sunday, 12–8pm, 56 Stanworth Street. A standing weekly fixture rather than a one-off — free entry, a chest of toys and blankets, and food from Maltby Street Market traders. Good fallback if nothing above lines up with your weekend.
A few things to check before you go
- Confirm the date and time directly with the organiser. Pop-ups and markets get rescheduled or move venue more often than you'd expect — this roundup is a starting point, not a substitute for the event's own page.
- Ask whether it's genuinely dog-friendly, or just dog-tolerant. "Dogs welcome" can mean anything from "off lead and loved" to "on a short lead near the door." If in doubt, email or message ahead.
- Think about your dog's tolerance for crowds and noise before a market or parade, not after you've arrived. A sociable dog will love Woof About; a noise-sensitive one will have a much better afternoon at the sound-healing session instead.
- Bring water and a plan for a quiet exit. Busy pop-up events rarely have the space to decompress in if your dog needs a break.

Frequently asked questions
It depends on the event. Markets and parades are usually free, drop-in and dog-friendly throughout; classes, screenings and ticketed experiences often have limited capacity. Always check the organiser's own listing for the latest booking details, times and prices before you travel.
No. This is an independent roundup of publicly listed events, not something PawsNearMe is organising or sponsoring. If you want to organise your own dog meetup, walk or playdate, you can create one directly in the PawsNearMe app.
Prefer to organise your own meetup?
Not every good dog outing needs to be on a public listing. If you'd rather arrange a playdate or group walk with dogs and owners you already know — or meet new ones nearby — see our guide to finding dog friends and playdates in London, or check how busy your local park is before you head out to any of the above.
